Iran and Serbia Discuss Expanding Cooperation in Labour

 

 On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Mohammad Sadegh Fazeli, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Serbia, met with Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski, the honorable Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs of Serbia.

Ms. Đurđević Stamenkovski, expressing her pleasure at meeting the new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Serbia, expressed hope that during the new term, the process of interactions between the two countries—especially in the fields of labour, welfare, and social security—would further expand. Cooperation and the exchange of experiences in the area of women empowerment and family were among the issues highlighted by the Serbian side.

 

The Iranian Ambassador, also expressing satisfaction with the meeting, emphasized the development of bilateral relations based on the friendly ties between the two countries and welcomed the exchange of experiences and joint cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Serbia in areas of mutual interest. The exchange of delegations at various levels was another subject discussed in the meeting.
