Ambassador Meets Serbia’s Minister of Family and Population
Strengthening Serbia–Iran Cooperation in the Field of Family and Population Policies
Mohammad Sadegh Fazli, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Belgrade, met on Thursday, 4 December 2025, with Ms. Jelena Žarić Kovačević, Serbia’s Minister of Family and Population, in Belgrade.
Fazli noted that the friendly relations between the two countries are rooted in shared values and common principles, and emphasized that strengthening the family constitutes a key priority in social policies.
Cooperation in the field of family and population policies, as well as the exchange of experiences and new initiatives, were among the other topics discussed during the meeting. Referring to existing capacities, the Ambassador underscored the readiness of the Iranian Embassy in Belgrade to facilitate cooperation between the two countries in this area.
