Ambassador Meets Minister of Information and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia

Emphasis on Expanding Iran–Serbia Cooperation in the Field of Information Technology during the Meeting of the Iranian Ambassador with Serbia’s Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunications

Mohammad Sadegh Fazli, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Belgrade, met on Friday, 5 December 2025, with Mr. Boris Bratina, Minister of Information and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia.

During the meeting, Fazli, referring to the progress achieved by both countries in the fields of information technology and digital development, emphasized the readiness of the Iranian Embassy in Belgrade to facilitate contacts and cooperation between the relevant sectors in the two countries. He added that, fortunately, good contacts have been established between the two sides in recent years, and a memorandum of understanding in this regard was signed in February 2025, stressing the need for joint efforts to ensure its effective implementation.

Mr. Bratina, outlining Serbia’s advancements in the field of information technology, welcomed the expansion of cooperation with Iran in the areas of information technology, cybersecurity, and digital development.
