Mohammad Sadegh Fazli, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Serbia, met on Friday, 19 December 2025, with Mr. Dušan Kozarev, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia. Mr. Kozarev expressed his pleasure at meeting the new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Serbia, wished him success in his mission, and expressed hope that, through the joint efforts of both sides, bilateral relations in various fields would be further expanded. Referring to the good relations between the two governments, Mr. Kozarev emphasized that mutual respect for national sovereignty and international law constitutes one of the key characteristics of bilateral relations. Utilizing existing capacities to develop economic and trade relations between the two countries, as well as Iran’s participation in Expo 2027 Belgrade, were among the other topics discussed during the meeting. The two sides also emphasized the exchange of experiences and the expansion of cultural, educational, and academic cooperation
